Expandable polystyrene containing low-boiling hydrocarbon foaming agent can increase its volume by 5-50 times when heated to 90-110℃, and become heat-insulating, sound-insulating, shock-proof, water-resistant, acid-resistant, and alkali-resistant And other characteristics of foam. The performance of polystyrene foam has a great relationship with the micropore structure, and is related to modifiers and additives. If the flame retardant hexabromocyclododecane is added, the foam produced has flame retardant properties.
