01How do we classfiy EPS Material?

It is the question from many manufacturers who have worked in EPS industry. If you are looking for stronger material, eco-
friendly but also want to save cost, please don’t ignore this article of HEP.
HEP (highly expandable polystyrene) bead is normal EPS bead covered by special coating. The main component is still polystyrene (92%-96%), but the special coating cover outside is our key.

For example, the shock elimination of HEP 60 times expansion equals ESP 40 times expansion. Even the beads are expanded bigger but they still hard and strong enough.
Before you have to do product by EPS 40 times expansion to hit the elimination standard as customer’s requirement but now you only need to make product with HEP 60 times expansion. It means that you can save the raw material, estimate to cut down 33% (as our test).

01FEATURES

EPS(Expandable Polystyrene) is a lightweight, rigid, plastic foam insulation material produced from solid particles of polystyrene. Expandsion is achieved by virtue of small amounts of pentane gas dissolved into the polystyrene base material during production.The gas expands under the action of heat, applied as steam, to form perfectly clesed cells of EPS.

Storage standard EPS contains volatile and combustible composition and should therefore be kept far away from any source of ignition, perferable in a cool, dry and well-ventilated storeroom below 25 ℃ out of direct sunlight.
