How to deal with jitter and choking of CNC cutting machine

1: Adjustment of the guide gap
Guide clearance refers to the clearance between the two guide wheels and the two leading sides. There is a guiding gap for the transverse carriage (or cutting bar) on the transverse front rail (or beam), and there is a guiding gap for the longitudinal front rail on the longitudinal carriage (or beam). Feeling the size of the guide rail gap, both hands can gently turn the guide wheels on both sides of the front guide rail. The reason that affects the verticality and motion accuracy of the X and Y directions may be that the guide seam is too large. The guide wheels in each guide wheel group are installed by eccentric shaft, and there is a shaft extension for adjustment above the guide wheel group. Rotate the eccentric shaft to adjust the guide gap. When adjusting, do not press the too-tight guide wheel to the side of the rail, usually by gently turning the eccentric shaft. A small gap, then lock the eccentric shaft. Because there are two pairs of guide wheels in the front guide groove of the longitudinal carriage, there are two pairs of adjustment eccentric shafts. The guiding method of the transverse carriage to the transverse front rail is similar in structure to the guiding method of the longitudinal carriage to the longitudinal front rail, and the adjustment method is the same.
  2: Adjust the transmission clearance
The movement in the X and Y directions of the CNC cutting machine is a stepper motor/servo motor driven by a gear and a rack and pinion, which are respectively fixed on the longitudinal front guide rail and the horizontal front guide rail. The working characteristics of the used stepping motor are: , Every time the computer gives a control pulse, the stepper motor takes one step, the pulse frequency is high, the step is fast, the pulse frequency is low, and the step is slow. The one-step operation of the stepping motor is completely different from the traditional transmission system that requires proper transmission clearance, which requires the transmission system to have no clearance, otherwise it will cause serious noise and even lost steps. Whether there is a large gap in the transmission shaft can be judged by the running noise. After the equipment has been used for a period of time, the drive clearance should be adjusted immediately. The pinion in the drive box is fixedly connected with the output shaft of the stepping motor, and the large gear is positioned on the drive box via the shaft. In this way, the fixing of the stepper motor to the drive box body can be loosened to adjust the gear transmission gap in the transmission box, so that the stepper motor and the pinion gear are pressed together in the direction of the large gear, and then they can be fastened. When adjusting, in order to eliminate the backlash, the gears should not be too tight. The drive box is respectively installed with a transverse carriage and a longitudinal carriage. The fixing bolts of the transmission box on the carriage can be loosened to adjust the gap between the gear and the rack, so that the entire transmission box is close to the rack and then tightened. Similarly, the purpose of the adjustment is to eliminate backlash and not get the gear and rack too tight.
